NVIDIA & xAI Join Microsoft, BlackRock, MGX & Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP)'s $30 Billion AI Infrastructure Fund

$NVDA ( ▼ 1.92% ) and Elon Musk’s xAI have officially joined the AI Infrastructure Partnership (AIP), which was established by $MSFT ( ▼ 1.22% ) , $BLK ( ▼ 2.49% ) , MGX, and GIP in September last year.

The multi-billion dollar partnership aims to invest in developing new data centres and expanding energy infrastructure, mainly in the U.S.

Initially, AIP seeks to unlock $30 billion in capital from investors, asset owners, and corporations.

With debt financing, the total investment potential could reach an eye-watering $100 billion.

Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, said:

“The global buildout of AI infrastructure will benefit every company and country that wants to achieve economic growth and unlock solutions to the world’s greatest challenges."
