The United Arab Emirates has pledged a $1.4 trillion investment over 10 years following a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and the UAE’s national security adviser Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Monetary Policy Committee voted 8-1 (with Swati Dhingra dissenting) to maintain the Bank Rate at 4.5%.

The investment bank has raised their 2025 year-end Gold price target to $3,100 from $2,890 per ounce.

Speaking at the FII PRIORITY Summit in Miami, Steve Cohen, Chairman & CEO of Point72, warned that U.S. growth is likely to slow from 2.5% to 1.5% in the second half of the year.
